🎉 Celebrating 25 Years of the Children’s Kidney Fund Northern Ireland! 🎉

On November 30th, 2024, we proudly celebrated our 25th anniversary at the stunning Belfast City Hall. This milestone event was a heartfelt tribute to the incredible journeys of our children and their families who have been supported by the Children’s Kidney Fund over the years.

We were thrilled to be joined by Northern Ireland’s Health Minister, Mike Nesbitt, whose presence underscored the importance of our mission. Additionally, we had the honour of welcoming Olympic hero Mary Peters, whose inspiring journey resonated with everyone in attendance. Their support highlights the collective effort needed to improve kidney health for children across Northern Ireland.

The event was not just a celebration; it was a moment to reflect on the challenges faced by our young patients and their families. We shared stories of resilience and hope, showcasing how far we’ve come together in supporting children’s kidney health. The evening was filled with laughter, inspiration, and a renewed commitment to continue our vital work.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over these 25 years. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children with kidney conditions. Here’s to many more years of advocacy, support, and success!

A further thanks also to all who helped us celebrate on the Day, Ryan Kelly, Electric Reels, Ross and Ben, Lisburn and Bandbridge Ukulele Group and the Norney Henderson School of Irish Dance. This event wouldn’t have been the success that it was with all your support.
