🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Cora Connolly! 🌟
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Cora Connolly for her unwavering support of the Children’s Kidney on her fundraising efforts. Thanks to her dedication and the incredible generosity of our community, she raised a substantial amount of £5,118.46.
What began as a simple idea to host a Santa’s Grotto in her log cabin, Cedar Lodge, blossomed into something far greater than we ever anticipated. The response from local businesses and community members was overwhelming.
Their fundraising journey included various events such as prize draws, cooking for friends, bonus ball competitions, and even a young child who selflessly donated her birthday money! The culmination of our efforts was a New Year’s Day walk up Bessy Bell, organised on Cora’s behalf by the wonderful group known as Friends of the Glen.
We are forever humbled and grateful to everyone in the area who supported us in so many ways. Your kindness has not only contributed significantly to our cause but has also helped raise awareness about the critical need for organ donation. Together, we are making a difference!
